 This is the next level of service from our Stone Rejuvenation Package.  This Seven Step Renovation Package is designed & recommended where little or no professional stone care has been given for 3-5 years.  This SD Stone Care package would be utilized if your objective is to: remove all small scratches & etching (dull spots), Fill all Holes, Re-Polish to your desired finish (Matte – Satin – High Polish), and Re-Seal your Stone & Grout. It accomplishes everything necessary to put your natural stone back to it’s original beauty, and then some, of the day it was installed.

Areas Available: Interior – Exterior – Floors – Counters – Showers – Stone Tub Decks

Recommended Surfaces: Travertine – Limestone – Marble

 

Stone Renovation Includes:

  1. Cleaning: Apply appropriate cleaning solution and allow to sit on surface for 10-15 minutes. Machine & hand scrub area. Followed with a self contained pressure washing & extraction rinse. (Our pressure washing & rinse is a specialized tool which keeps all the water on the area being cleaned.)
  2. Fill All Holes: Cement fill minor holes, Polyester fill larger holes & hair-line seam cracks. (Seam cracks in floors are often caused by movement SDSC can fill these cracks, however, we can not guarantee “invisible look” or that these areas won’t  crack in the future.)
  3. Remove all Etches (dull spots): These are marks on the floor that are often mistaken as “stains” but in reality are dull spots caused by the spilling of foods & products that contain acidic liquids.
  4. Scratch Removal: Hand tool removes deep scratches – small scratches will be removed during the “Honing Process” (If area has excessive scratches SD Stone Care will recommend our Stone Restoration Package)
  5. Honing: is a Pre- Finish Process that removes Etches (Dull Spots),  minor scratches, and prepares the surface for the final finish whether it be: Honed- Satin-Polish or High- Polish.
  6. Re-Finishing: Final process to achieve desired stone finish. (Finish will match as closely as possible current finish unless another finish is requested)
  7. Sealer: One Application of Penetrating Sealer especially manufactured for Natural Stone.

Note: This Package Does Not Include “Edge Work” (Next to walls and cabinets) we will “Blend” to match Edge Finish. These areas seldom have any damage due to traffic.

What is the difference between the SD Stone Care “Rejuvenation Package and this SD Stone Care “Renovation Package”?

  1. Our Stone Rejuvenation Packageis designed to be performed anywhere from 1-2 years to…maintain a surface that has minor wear & tear.
  2.  The SD Stone Care “Renovation Package” is recommended where more severe conditions exist: Heavy loss of shine – minor scratches throughout – a few to several areas of deep scratches – areas of medium to heaving etching (kitchen areas & toilet areas) as well as excessive pitting & holes in the natural stone (ie. Travertine)
  3. After the completion of our Renovation Package we will set you up with our yearly inspection program (e-mail reminder card) This way your next service can most likely be our best economical Rejuvenation Package.
